Machine
ESA 1
EBS has developed fully automatic balancing machines integrated in production lines working continuously with low cycle time and high reliability. An example is the ESA 1 machine: it is a machine for automatic balancing of flywheels with a mass up to 10 kg, and is composed by six stations: loading, angular positioning, unbalance measuring, correction, residual unbalance control, unloading. A rotating table transfers the rotors from each station to the following station. The machine is capable of processing different types of flywheels which can arrive in a random sequence. Unbalance correction is performed by milling or drilling according to the type of component which has been detected automatically.
